I have a research and publication background in the history of military nursing and work-related disability. Current research examines nursing identity and the level of agency that sick and injured nurses possessed while seeking compensation and treatment.

I am the web editor and communications manager for the United Kingdom Association for the History of Nursing (https://ukahn.org/) I also perform the 'web magic' of creating our online publication The Bulletin (https://bulletin.ukahn.org/).
